When my band opened for the Unicorns, we played first, then Besnard Lakes played after us, followed by the Unicorns. As the Unicorns were getting ready to go on, some random guy came up to me and said, "You guys were so much better than (Besnard Lakes)".

ditto what Sir Mikeabye said - had a good time with the 'Corns and the openers were sorta blah. i got a neat-o poster and it was nice meeting a fellow boardie. more than horses!

So I just got back home from the show. I had a thoroughly good time, although the opening bands weren't particularly good. The Unicorns were Uni-reffic, and I met up with Brain, aka Broken Face, which was cool. If any of you get the chance to catch them while they are still touring, take full advantage of it.
Turn the spit on that pig and kick the drum and let me down.

Yeah, definitely will do. If I decide to clean it, I'll wear my red Catholics shirt. Look for the short scrawny kid with the curly brown hair.

still not 100% sure i'm going, but if i do, i'm wearing a blue shirt that has an orange fish on it and it says "karl is king!," blue jeans and maybe a mets hat - i'm 80% certain i'm going (if i can get a ticket online). come up and say hi
