saw this last night (i'm on a movie roll at the moment). i give it a firm "recommended" for this year. amazingly shot.. inspiring true story about the young Ernesto Guevara "Che" and 8,000 km road trip though South America on a motorcycle.

bring on the good films!

I thought it was very good but not great. I went to see Gael Garcia Bernal which is the most amazing actor at the moment, and he delivered a very strong performance once more. One thing's sure, the movie made me want to go on vacation there badly. I'm going to Machu Pichu as soon as I can. But apart from that I thought the movie lacked a bit of substance. El Che was depicted as some kind of saint. I mean, there must have been dark sides to his person. I know the movie's adapted from his diaries, but they could have shown a more complex character. Still a good movie though.

I wasn't enthusiastic about this movie, but my mother was dying to see it, because she is kind of a hippie. And I saw a floop post recommending it, so I took her to the cinema yesterday. She took me, being honest.
Maybe it loses something in the translated version.

A friend of mine told me yesterday that she loved the movie, and that I should go watch it...So as you all liked it too, I´ll go maybe next week. Thanks for posting about it!

I've been debating this it's on at the local arty cinema (which is way nicer than the normal cinema) and I bought a che guevara clock yesterday, because it was red. I wish I'd bought the elvis one now that one was blue, I just woke up *yawn*
