Just wanted to share some unique music - from our group Yachay, a sonic vehicle born from our work in the Amazonian rainforest. The music is passionate, urgent and eclectic. You can download some mp3s off our site and find out more at

http://www.yachaymusic.com

The group is big fans of the Pixies and we'll actually be giving out free cds of our music at the Pixies show in Phoenix tomorrow.

Nope, I won't be deleting it, thanks for your understanding, too, and good luck.

I appreciate your position as a moderator and definitely understand the amount of 'programmed' garbage out there that seeks to implant itself wherever it can. Thanks for explaining your response more in depth. No harm done. If you still even feel that you want to delete the post and it doesn't have a place here, no mind either, I'll still visit the board.

No, if I had made my decision already then your topic would've been deleted and your account locked.

SPAM refers to unsolicited anything where multiple people are at the receiving end of one message. Someone logging in and in their first posting promoting something of theirs is generally considered to be spam and we have robots that attempt to (and occasionally succeed) in doing this all the time as well as people with no interest in Frank Black signing up to promote various things.

Obviously your post sounded genuine enough that I was unsure. Usually robots/one-time non-fans don't return to post subsequent posts, even if they are clever enough to use terms like "frank black" in their message. Hence my response. I assure you it would have been easier to lock you than doing that and/or this, so consider that 'weak' if you'd like.

Sounds like you've already made your decision my friend by issuing a label to this post. Usually SPAM refers to unsolicited emails. This is a message board, plus this is a 'General Discussion' subforum. I love Frank Black. I love and support the Pixies through their albums and through going to live shows. I thought I'd share some interesting, non-mainstream music with some people that love good music. That's it. Open your mind and your heart and maybe treat yourself to something that moves you in some way, or maybe not, but to just dismiss it as 'spam' is weak. If you like the music I would be happy to send you a free cd. How many 'spam' emails want to give you something at their cost?!?!
