My flatmate signed his divorcepapers yesterday, and came home with a box of his belongings his exwife´d been holding onto the past four years: a candlestick shaped like the grim reaper, a plastic lampshade in the form of a skull, and a clock with two skeletons hugging (inscription: Together Forever). Thing is he pays the mortgage and I´m renting. I´m moving in a couple months anyway but still in interim would like to have visitors feel I have a mental age of higher than 15. If anyone has suggestions as to how I can get him to make these things quit my sight without him retreating into well-it´s-my-house-so-the-crap-stays kind of humour, I´d be much obliged. Note: appealing to any sort of aesthetic sense will not work.

I think guns are neither good nor bad, I meant in the context of joining a bunch of people who turn you into a mindless collection of impulses then arm you. Maybe I should explain the photo more: his eyes weren´t doing the same thing as his mouth.

Regard me with caution then. Shooting an AK 47 is one of the most fun things I've done lately.
(I used to be afraid of guns, but I had to get over that, and I did.)

Long as we´re skullcessorising, why not?
Man I shouldof read the warning signs when he showed me photos of his year in the army (no compulsory service here, they just rely on enough people being dumb enough or rudderless enough). Anyone who can stretch that goofy a grin while holding an automatic weapon should be regarded with caution.
