Posted - 10/15/2004 : 00:03:42 I'm at the Faint / TV on the Radio show tonight in Philly and my friend Brian is talking to some guy. Brian leans over and asks me where my seats for the Pixies show are located. The guy he's talking to leans in to hear what I'm going to say. "Third row in the left section," I scream "I’m not exactly sure." The guy says, "Oh well were in the first row in the middle." (I'm assuming he got pit tickets) He then informs me that the frankblack.net website had a presale and that's how he got such good tickets. I say, "I know (rather than correct him that it was pixiesmuic.com) that's how I got my tickets too." Then he asks, "Did you download the tribute albums?" I nod yes and he mentions that his friend did the track pure denizens of the citizens band. Immediately I say, "Yeah, Mike Disanto?" "That's him", he says. I then proceed to tell him I've met Mr. Disanto before at the Frank Black Tower Records in store. He then tells me that he and Mike are from the same town and went to the same school. The guy's name is Matt and he goes to Stockton College in NJ. I thought it was a funny coincidence. By the way, I really dig your simple and short song.
