i don't know about Kirsten but you should definitely check out Dios Malos (formerly "Dios" before being sued by Ronnie James Dio [asshole])..
there's somewhat of a Mojave 3 vibe.
excellent LA band.. and one of the better bands of the 00's in my opinion.
