Hey, stuck with a CD for a present? Don't worry, here's what to do!

*STEP 1:

Complain about it with your friends.

*STEP 2:

Try to find the receipt. A parent's wallet or purse is a good place to start looking.

*STEP 3:

Get yourself to the mall and return the CD. Even if you don't have the receipt, some places will give you store credit (especially if you act real sad).

*STEP 4:

Find the biggest pack of CD-Rs you can get for the price of the CD (usually 25 or 50). Now you're back in charge of your music. Rock on!

My folks know far better than to buy me music. They need careful grooming, you know.
The one I did nick was my pa's Rhythm & Blues Allstars record, that was ace.

be glad, that kind has insufficient support for the record and ends up causing warping and eventually cracks! terrible evil thing! :)

I hoarded my REM vinyl as a kid and stole the stuff that wasn't terrible from my parents collection (I still have their pink floyd david bowie, and steve harley ones here) they weren't paying much attention to the records during the divorce, perfect theiving time.

But I also did tapes, I've got boxes and boxes of them, no tape player anymore and all these bloody tapes.

My pops did make the mistake of buying me a black grape CD once, I turned him round and sent him back to the CD shop for some more peter gabriel instead

I look like the kind of guy who pimps his sister not just for the money, but because he hates her

when i was in Elementary School my uncle bought me a Billy Joel cassette. even at that early age, i thought Billy Joel was uncool, so I was kind of embarassed to have it in my collection, but pretended to like it.

now i might actually be interested in listening to it.

today's youth is not being taught that music can sound better than MP3s do.

we're raising a bunch of ninnies who will grow up listening to shite and have no taste when they are adults because of it.

i was fortunate enough to be raised on LPs instead of tapes, but i have friends who were not so fortunate and now they download MP3s by "Noun/Verb Integer" bands by the gigabyte.
