I think he had heart failure resulting from an infection from a pressure wound, which is pretty sad. Generally those can be avoided if people are turned and moved routinely.
Guess it is not very important HOW he died anyway. I hope wherever he is (if you believe in that sort of thing) he is walking and running and having the best time.

I have total faith that Mr. Reeve is walking again now. He truly was a courageous and positive man in the wake of a situation that would have crippled any other. Rest in peace, Chris. We love you.
