Very very sad indeed.... apparently he had a heart attack on Friday and slipped into a coma. He was such a brave guy.

RIP

Just the good ole boys, never meaning no harm,
that all you ever saw
been in trouble with the law,
since the day they were born

I don't think her valkeryie outfit would have fit me well anyways.

Back to the Christopher Reeve jokes!!! I think 12 hours is a proper period of respect and restraint.

As long as he's not riding any more horses.

Darwin! Auntie Chub thought you were such a nice boy, she's hung up her valkeryie outfit she was saving for you, I think you lost her for good this time.

I think he had heart failure resulting from an infection from a pressure wound, which is pretty sad. Generally those can be avoided if people are turned and moved routinely.

The uneasy time to come

He will live forever eating human embryos in South Park.

I first believed a man could fly, and then I believed he would walk. It is very sad. Instead of an activist, he is now a martyr.

Kal'El and Jor'El have finally reunited! To think we've lost Superman and his father in the same year is heartbreaking. I have total faith that Mr. Reeve is walking again now. He truly was a courageous and positive man in the wake of a situation that would have crippled any other. Rest in peace, Chris. We love you.

I'm actually sadder about this than I thought I'd be. Poor superman

mmm, he once said in an interview that he knew that he would walk again
I found his positive thinking very hopeful for all the people around the globe
with the same problems as his

That's very discouraging news. He always seemed so optimistic; this seems like nature's way of saying that life is not fair, and no matter how positively we hope for things to turn out for the best, sometimes they don't.
