Posted - 10/04/2004 : 13:29:50 I know, I know, that's a relatively old movie to talk about and you''ve probably discussed it before, but I must say something or I'll explode.
I went to see this movie with my sister several months ago. She's a great fan of the two first movies and me too. When we were getting out of the theather she asked me about my opinion. I didn't want to hurt her and said something like "Pretty good, wasn't it?" and she said with a sad smile "Yes"
Is it only me or this is the biggest piece of shit since "Independence Day"?

Posted - 10/05/2004 : 09:46:05 Am I the only one who liked T3? I'm glad they ended it the way they did, something James Cameron was afraid to do.
As for the list all LOTR's where fun but, hated Hulk & Daredevil and fell asleep during Matrix reloaded.

The Hulk didn't really suck. Nick Nolte was in it. Daredevil did suck pretty badly, T3 sucked too, and I didn't bother to watch Matrix Reloaded. LOTR was great.

I really liked Hulk, actually, and I don't mind being in the minority one bit.

One for Tre, as you're the guru:
I saw an awful zombie movie with a friend several years ago. It was really bad, but it was great for the same reason. Can you remember the title? I think it was an italian movie, with some people trapped in a theatre becoming zombies. I remember a scene with a cutted hand opening a door to let the body pass through (). At the end, some of them (1 or 2) escape and realize all the city was full of zombies. A family in a car helps them to flee, and ending credits. There are probably tons of zombie movies with the same script, so I guess it's a hard question.

Oooops, there is already a thread about it. Sorry.
I'm quoting myself. Lame, but I always wanted to.

Posted - 10/05/2004 : 06:03:41 I edited and mastered the Terminator 3 audiobook. You think the movie sucked? Imagine having that convoluted car chase READ to you! Also, there were a lot of extra lame scenes and one liners in the book that weren't in the movie. My favorite would be at the end when Terminator feeds T-X his fuel cell. In the audiobook he says "Eat Me" before doing it.
I thought the movie got tolerable about 3/4ths of the way into it. I liked the plot twist about Skynet and the surprise ending. Overall it's pretty bad, but when I watched T2 again last month, I thought it was pretty cheesy also.
Still, Kristanna Loken is worth the price of admission. If only there was more T-X T&A...

Posted - 10/04/2004 : 23:19:30 I've seen a top ten chart somewhere on the internet (January 2003):
01 Matrix: Reloaded, The 02 Hulk 03 Lord Of The Rings: The Two Towers 04 Daredevil 05 Terminator 3: Rise Of The Machines
AAAAAAAAAAARRRRRRRRRRRGGGGGGGHHHHHHHH!!!!!! The world is going crazy!
P.S.: I haven't seen it, deserves Hulk a bold font?

Posted - 10/04/2004 : 21:53:09 It was pretty bad, I have to admit. Although he is the only one who could do it, Arnold Schwartzenegger (sp?) is getting too old. The outcome of the movie was pretty anti-climatic too. I know that's about the only way it could've ended, based on the fact that the viewers know what to expect in the future, but it still left me disappointed.
It had some cool moments, but really nothing to write home about.

Posted - 10/04/2004 : 18:57:53 the ending was acually what i liked best about this movie. Its the perfect place to leave john Conner if he's going to lead a world war against the machines. Plus I really like Clair Danes. Always have. Always will. Too bad the movie wasn't great.
The best thing on the DVD is the cut scene with Arnold with the southern accent. It's possibly the funniest thing I've ever seen in my entire lifetime.
the sound of ataris kills me and my friends 'cause we know that we'll never go back there again sometimes we play playstation but it's not the same |

Posted - 10/04/2004 : 17:09:11 hahah that movie was so awful.
my favourite part is during the big truck chase when a car blows up and you hear some big cat going 'ROWR!' the sound effects during that whole scene are absolutely horrible.
if you didn't notice it, keep it in mind and you will next time! |

Posted - 10/04/2004 : 14:18:59 But listening to the commentary on the DVD is priceless. Anything Arnold says is beautiful. From 11:44 - 17:03, all he talks about is his body. It's hilarious. |
