Hey all.

So, I used to post here a fair amount, but I've been dealing with some drawn-out family situations that drastically altered my priorities. When last I was here, a kind soul named Rita had sent me a CD-R copy of the "Honeycomb" rough mixes, and I was supposed to send her some rare FB or Pixies material in trade.

That never happened, and I long ago lost her contact information. If she reads this, please get in touch and I will make things right!

Anyway, I feel badly about just vanishing from the boards, and especially about leaving Rita in a "trade lurch," so by way of a re-introduction, I've burned 10 copies of "Subbacultcha," the excellent SBD boot of the TLM tour from Leysin in 1991.

Anybody who wants one can have it. Just send me a PM, or post a response with your mailing address. The first 10 responses I get will be mailed out in the next week. If you feel like sending me something in return, that's cool, but it's not required.

I'm glad this site has continued to prosper. In fact, it looks so different from the last time I was here that it took me quite by surprise!

I look very forward to being an active particpant here at Frankblack.net in 2006.

Hope everyone is doing well.

Y'know yer right... If he sends it, he sends it. If he doesn't, well, I'm just not gonna worry about it anymore. Besides, It's always a bonus to get something in the mail that you weren't expecting.

I could talk myself to death, but I believe I would only waste my breath.

I got a nice email from him just about a week ago asking for my snail mail address. We all get busy and sometimes emails (particularly personal emails) get pushed to the side.
Billy Radcliffe Posted - 05/11/2006 : 13:50:50
I wasn't gonna do this until at least 12 days had passed so,

I've E-mailed him twice, being really really nice, and no reply. Point well taken? Perhaps not. I am really interested in meeting some people that want to trade some live shows with me... I hope the whole trading community doesn't turn out like this. I understand he is prolly busy again, but geesh. Can't you return an email. Consider Karma tarnished. Ok. I am probably out of line or something by now, so I will just retreat into the quiet recesses of my soul.

Billy,
Point very well taken. By now, I believe that everyone who contacted me has been sent a request for their mailing address. Discs ship out as soon as I receive that info.

Thanks to everyone for their patience!

- Jim

Not being a jerk but, It is Sunday and I have had no contact as of yet... This is the kind of thing that makes people lose faith in the whole trading thing. So, here's a great Idea... Why don't we unpack the house, set up all the equipment, take care of our other obligations, especially making good on Broken Face's care package, THEN offer us all a copy of the Leyson gig... That would cleanse the Karma alot quicker than potentially getting yourself into the same position you were in last time...

Sorry to have been so incommunacado of late. Just finished moving into a new place. Unpacking all my music. I'll contact everyone who has posted here or written me by this weekend, and the discs ship out on Monday.

Thanks everybody!

Brian,
Yes I did, no you're not being a jerk, and all apologies! Like I said, my world got turned pretty well upside down and I dropped about 20 different balls. Virtually all of my contact info from that time period is no more, so with that in mind, please send me your mailing address again to: reed_jim@hotmail.com, and I'll get a long-overdue care package out to you ASAP.

Welcome back.
Dont't need Subbacultcha, though.
But thanks for the kind offer anyway.
