i'm pretty sure this is right...the only part i'm unsure of is
some of the lead guitar parts, like the intro...but for most of the song he's just playing the same notes as charles. but otherwise this was a pretty easy one, i dont know if this has been submitted before but i dont see it on the main site, so...

I just added some chords after watching the DVD. He does indeed play chords for that, PixieSteve. I just missed the other 2 during the chorus.

Added the beginning of the lead guitar, too.

The original track on Surfa Rosa sounds way different then wha the Catholics were doing with it... I can never make it sound just right (because I am not the man) but looks pretty close to me...

I got your tab Futon. I haven't actually checked it out yet. Sorry. I've been a lazy tabber.

on the dvd, i'm pretty sure he plays single notes for g# g f# and e.

Haha, no problem. I sent Derek a tab of Rock Music not too long ago but have not heard word back.

Hmm..I always thought it was something along these lines...He definitely uses chords and not single notes on the scale down..

This is all normal tuning, mind you.

blackx Posted - 06/18/2004 : 14:02:14
are there any other pixies songs that i could tab that have not been tabbed out already?
blackx Posted - 06/18/2004 : 14:01:11
oh. well that's how i tune my guitars. you're probably right though, it makes the main riff alot easier to play in C# standard.
ProverbialCereal Posted - 06/18/2004 : 13:22:24
i don't think it tunes down 1/2 step. I sent this tab to Dave a few weeks ago.....
