OK, this is my first attempt at tabbing a song, so there certainly are mistakes. The Bm during the slow part bugs me. Anyway, I just wanted to try. I'd be glad if someone could correct it.

Sugar Daddy
from Wig In A Box: Song from & inspired by Hedwig and the Angry Inch
played by Frank Black
tabbed by Denis (vilainde)

B -----2-1-2-------2-1-2-------2-1-2-------2-1-2-
G -2---------0-----------------------------------
D -----------------------2-----------------------
A -----------------------------------4-----------
E -----------------------------------------------

Verse 1

D
I've got a sweet tooth
			     A
for licorice drops and jelly roll,
D
Hey sugar daddy,
				A
Hansel needs some sugar in his bowl.
     E
I'll lay out fine china on the linen
D
And polish up the chrome
    A F# D
and if you've got some sugar for me,
      E A
Sugar Daddy, bring it home.

Verse 2: same as 1

Black strap molasses,
you're my orange blossom honey bear.
Bring me Versace blue jeans
Oh bring me black designer underwear.
We'll dress up like the disco-dancing
Jet set in Milan and Rome.
And if you've got some sugar for me,
Sugar Daddy, bring it home.

Chorus

       E A
Oh the thrill of control,
	 E A
Like the rush of rock and roll,
       F# B
Is the sweetest taste that I have ever known, oh yeah
D E A
If you got some sugar bring it home.

Verse 3

When honey bees go shopping
It's something to be seen
They swarm to wild flowers
And get nectar for the queen
And everything you bring me
Well you got me dripping like honeycomb, oh
If you've got some sugar for me,
Sugar Daddy, bring it home

Chorus 2
       E A
Oh the thrill of control,
       E A
Like a Blitzkrieg on the roll,
	 F# B
It's the sweetest taste that I have ever known, ooh yeah
D E F#
If you've got some sugar bring it home
   D E A
Oh come on, Sugar Daddy, bring it home!

Bridge:
F#
Whiskey and French cigarettes
  B
a motorbike with high-speed jets
  D E
a Waterpik, and a Cuisinart
      A
and a hypo-allergenic dog
       F#
I want all the luxuries of the modern age
B
Every item on every page
       D E A
In the Lillian Vernon catalogue

Slow part:
F#m
Oh baby, something's crossed my mind
Bm
And I was thinking you'd look so fine
Dm E
In a velvet dress with heels
	 A
And an ermine stole.
F#m
Oh, Luther darling, heaven knows
Bm
I've never put on women's clothes
Dm
Except for once
   E A
My mother's camisole.

So you think only a woman
can truly love a man
Then you buy me the dress
I'll be more woman
than a man like you can stand.
I'll be your Venus on a chocolate shell
Yeah, rising on a marshmallow foam
and if you got some sugar for me,
Sugar Daddy, bring it home.

	    E A
It's our tradition to control,
     E A
like Erich Honecker and Helmut Kohl,
	 F# B
From the Ukraine down to the Rhone, oh yeah
D E
Sweet home uber alles,
	   F#
I'm coming home

I'm coming home
  D E A F#
Oh come on, Sugar Daddy, bring me home
  D E A F#
Oh come on, Sugar Daddy, please, won't you bring me home
  D E A
Oh come on, Sugar Daddy, bring me home

Denis

edit: crap! Why do all the chords end up at the beginning of each line? How do you do that?

you have to do a bracket deal around the text you want to be "spaced out" -

[codeX]

TAB HERE

[/codeX]

Just take out the X's and it will work
