Posted - 02/26/2004 : 18:41:57 I redid this tab slightly and I figured out the solo tonight. I remember when Jim originally sent this to me, we were dicussing the G chords and stuff and I think I changed something. I can't remember what I changed, but this is what it should be as far as I can tell now. I'll send this to Dave and there will be an update once I finish some more tabs.
And I don't know if that Gm/C chord is the correct name.

Well how about the Adventure and the Resolution or Jaina Blues as new threads?

Posted - 01/18/2005 : 08:31:38 So did I actually, though I thought about it and then realized, "Hmm, pretty sure we had Shazeb tabbed long ago" so I checked the date.
You're right, we are overdue for an archiving. This topic won't get archived though 'cause there are some new posts on it, but I'll call in Mr. Dave.

Posted - 01/18/2005 : 08:25:20 If Dave was still around this thread would have already been archived. Nothing against you personally, fbc, but I had the same reaction as vilainde yesterday. "Oh cool, Derek's back," quickly followed by disappointment. I don't mean to be a forum cop and naturally you're free to dig up all the old threads you want, but I don't think Derek would have felt slighted if you hadn't acknowledged his post of 11 months ago. |

Posted - 01/18/2005 : 03:39:37 vilainde, soemtimes i don't know how to take others words. You "old-schoolers" have a way of saying things that can have several meanings.
me being me, i always read between the lines and find the negative. it's a flaw. i've had a few similar responses to my post on old topics that really were annoyed members. sometimes it's hard to know who's joking and who isn't. it's a very blurry line.
but thankyou for clearing things up, i get very defensive don't I? sorry vilainde
(my post in the Black hole was in response to me thinking id pissed you off, another thousand plus poster. so glad i haven't) |

Posted - 01/18/2005 : 02:53:21 Hey, I was only kidding. And you were right, Deek makes the best tabs. It's just that I miss him and his posts (and his Teletubbies pics), and I think a lot of people here do.
Keep digging, FBC.

Posted - 01/18/2005 : 02:35:46 Sorry.
I replied because 99 hadn't, it's polite, plus the tab is much appreciated. and i never really check the day of post. i just reply to the last. It's not for post count or seeing my 'name in up there'.
like I said, i never really played this before and the tab really helped. showing my gratitude.
sorry if i done wrong. someone seriously does need to post a thread about forum etiquette. i keep fucking up. |
