I understand where the notes are on the sheet music but I have no idea how the heck these notes are played on the guitar. Can anyone explain this or recommend a webpage that explains how to play these notes? |

Posted - 08/20/2009 : 10:39:27 All I knew before this was the name of the strings. So I don't know the names of the notes on the fretboard, and from what you wrote I think I can find every note except for the f notes. |

Posted - 08/20/2009 : 10:19:58 Standard guitar notation has the C, the third space (FACE) as the first fret of the second string.
The lines are Every Good Boy Deserves Fudge. The spaces are FACE.
High E is the top space. B is the 3rd line. G is the 2nd line D is the first space below the staff A is two lines below the staff Low E is the space below the third line below the staff.
