I just heard a few tracks from cHRISTMASS...

Any of you musicians a little frustrated with the acoustic guitar tone Frank Black produced live? It sounds cheap. It's tin-ney. The voice is beautiful, yet music behind the voice sucks. A midi guitar would have sounded better.

Is it wrong to expect more from a musician? As a guitarist, I'm almost insulted by the lack of attention the guitar tone desperately needs. We all know Frank is better than this.

It sounded better in person. Not sure why it wasn't so good on the album.

And aren't you havin' fun?
