Posted - 12/09/2006 : 08:12:20 Yes indeed. I love the anecdote Charles gives in interview from around the time, talking of how he and Joey started experimenting with dropped D tuning, since they were rehearsing next door to Ozzy Osborune's band, and didn't want to come across as weedy. |

Posted - 12/09/2006 : 07:37:28 Sorry there, Zigstar, you typed dropped tuning not dropped-d tuning. my mistake.
The Trompe version is so close to standard tuning, but is dropped down (correctamundo), though not even a half step. The mischevious little imps, they! |

Posted - 12/09/2006 : 06:55:11 Haha. Purple Tape and recent live versions are standard tuning, Trompe version is in a different key all together. |

Posted - 12/08/2006 : 11:38:02 It's in dropped-D? Interesting.
That makes at least three dropped-D songs on TLM!

Posted - 12/06/2006 : 04:33:00 I figured it out a while back, and remember it's in drop D. I'll see if I can rustle up a TAB over the weekend.
