I wouldn't know, mcil, Doog might. I've been thinking about this thread for ages now, and I'm so glad you got yourself one. Join the club.

Posted - 12/29/2006 : 10:42:45 Right, I hijacked this thread a while ago for my cause of buying a Jaguar... which I only got round to a minute ago.
originally ordered it from www.guitars.co.uk as Homers suggested, was the cheapest I could find at 480, that fell through earlier today when they emailed me saying they couldn't accept my Visa Electron. What a lot of balls. So, off I went to eBay, and I got one for 509.99 inc. P&P. Rather chuffed I am.
Now, you lot were going on about the bridges on Jaguars being of a poor standard. On eBay they have these:

Worth an investment?

Posted - 11/15/2006 : 09:11:05 I've owned a 68 330 for years. Love it, can't put it down. However, it can be a feed back monster, and you can really feel the air come in and out of the f holes if you are cranking it. If you don't mind turning down the guitar volumes, you can get a great Byrds or Buffalo Springfield sound. Turn up the volume pots on the guitar and you may find yourself constantly adjusting to take the edge off.
I woiuld guess aleft handed is the same as right handed, only cooler. |

Sorry for hijacking the Gibson 330 thread by the hoo

The Jag bridge tends to move a lot, throwing the thing out of tune.

Posted - 11/08/2006 : 10:36:56 Don't buy from Sound Control, they are ripp-off merchants. Buy online from elsewhere.
Ebay is always worth a look.
