I know this has been mentioend before, but I can't find the thread and I am never able to get the search working

According to the 33 1/3 Doolittle book, the 'Tame ugly chord' played by Joe is an F7 sharp-9.

How the hell do you play that, I ask??

That's what I thought, the same as the opening chord in Here Comes Your Man - which is played on the fourth, thanks a lot

Y'know, I never copped that an F7#9 would be like an E7#9 played in a different position. It's just reading it.."F7, yeah, jazzy-sounding F...what's a chord with a 9th like again?"...Soren's diagram makes it obvious! The Jimi chord! ;D

lying there like you're...

i could be way off the mark with my logic here,

but just play the above shape on the 7th fret instead of the 6th

double entendres; you gotta love 'em

This one has baffled and befuddled the greatest scientific minds. I believe Soren posted the chord before, but I can't recall it, and I'd darn well like to see how it's done myself.
