Many lives have been lost trying to find the secret to Frank’s enigmatic
instrumental “Tossed,” [cinematic voiceover]but now...in a world where
nothing is as it seems...one man...takes on the unknown...in a quest to
find out HOW THE BLOODY FUCK YOU PLAY THAT BLOODY SONG.[/cinematic voiceover]

And here’s a midi I made, also.

Thanks, I'll give that a try! I have my own way of playing it in standard tuning, that just ain't right!

Here goes my first bet (for the gold ;-)).

Tunned like Ten Percenter:

E|-- ------>> B|--
B|-- = = B|--
G|-- = = G|--
D|-- = = D|--
A|-- = = A|--
E|-- ------>> D|--

[INTRO] (one guitar)

B---2h5--|--2--0----|------7----------------4--7-6-(4)-7--------------|
B---2h5--|--2--0----|------7----------------4--7-6-(4)-7--------------|
G---2----|--2--0--2-|------7----------------4--7-6-(4)-7--------------|
D--------|--------2-|--4---7--0--9--11--9---4--7-6-(4)-7---7-9-11--0--|
A--------|--------2-|--4------0--9--11--9---4--7-6-(4)-7---7-9-11--0--|
D--------|----------|--4------0--9--11--9---4--7-6-(4)-7---7-9-11--0--|

Doesn´t sound perfect, there are a lot of variations

If only frnck blck would appear and tell us how...
Suicide_Samurai Posted - 06/26/2006 : 11:08:59
Course not. We'll beat this thing together!

[EDIT]Those chords sound good, also.

Keep at it, suicide, this is one song that leaves me stumped. I've several tabs floating around, all of which are wrong. It's so untabbable it doesn't even feature in the tab section.

I'm still doubting the tunage. To d-tune or not. Listening to live footage, fB seems to always swap guitars after this song which leaves me wondering. The D#(m) seems to be rooted on the low E, not A, which implies d-tuning of some sort, surely.

Verse chords I play are: F# A E A C B D#(m). Some crude tablature:

e-----------------------------------
b-----------------------------------
g-----------------------------------
d--4----7-7---2-2---7----10\9\1---0-
a--4----9-7---4-2---7----10\9\1---0-
d--4----7-7---2-2---7----10\9\1---0-

Do you mind if I dump some of my ideas/tabs here, or should I start a new 'Tossed W.I.P' thread?

Thanks, Samurai. I'll have to give that a shot. I have my own way of playing it, that probably isn't really right-it's been said before that there must be multiple guitar parts/overdubs or whatever.
