It appears that the C# tab listing of "Solid Gold" in the official tab section may be incorrect. If you start by tuning down to Eb, you can play the song in D (with open G). You will then be playing in the same key as the record, complete with the correct overtones of the ringing strings.

This is correct, I believe. The song is played using an open D and G chord form, tuning the guitar down a 1/2 step--if memory serves. T
