Posted - 08/23/2005 : 13:30:52 why are they so flaming hard to find? anyone have any tips on how to get one? (that must set-up some good drummer jokes)... seriously, i've tried advertising on musician forums, emailing available drummers on musician sites... should i just pay for a flaming ad in the NME or something or should i try some other options first? seems people only want to be in metal bands.

I'm not sure what part of the world you are from, but judging from your dialect, you must be from West Africa?
Anyway, try www.craigslist.com for musicians, job-hunting, love, free-stuff, whatever. You can look local, your part of the world. A very good (and free!) site.

might try that, haven't yet, i don't think dawson's will let me put anything up but there's a couple of others. my friend tried that once but didn't get any response. it's worth a shot though!

You've probably seen them but what about these musician websites?
