Posted - 04/25/2005 : 15:28:09 Hi! I would like to know the notes played by Joey Santiago for the solo and the key in which he played it.
And also, I guess he did a bend in the intro, but I don't know what it is.
May somebody help me please?
Thanks a lot. |

oh yeah, and the last chorus before the solo all i can make out (live version and i could be mistaken) is Kim just strumming a D note non stop instead of BF's riff. |

Posted - 05/20/2005 : 12:42:40 from what i hear (with drop-d) kim plays :
D--1-1-1-1-1-1-0-0-0-etc
or
D--13-13-13-13-13-13-12-12-12-etc
during the solo

You have to drop the E to D. Would sound better. ;) |

Posted - 04/25/2005 : 15:57:13 could be (the E and B) i always try out the notes in several places. my tabs are shitty and never in the right place but some of the notes are still right.
you can start the solo at the 7th fret on the G string, then 6th on the B and play 5th note of the E string when needed too. thats where i normally play it. I think it's in D minor, correct.

Posted - 04/25/2005 : 15:47:41 Is it the solo on the E and B string? Does he play in the D minor key as suggests the chord progression? |

Posted - 04/25/2005 : 15:45:23 think the bend could be this:
---------
---16----
---18b---
---------
---------
---------
some of the lead, very rough mind...
g] -------------------14---------------------------12-------------- d] 12---12-15-12--------12--15---12-15-12-----------15--12--
