T O P I C    R E V I E W
code-breaker Posted - 01/21/2005 : 21:48:45
Can someone tell me if I'm hearing this right. Does Frank make a mistake towards the end of the song by changing to E 2 bars earlier than everyone else (I guess just McCaffrey since everyone else is solo'in)? I don't know if bar is the right word, but I mean a 4-beat sequence.

It occurs when he says 'yeah' during the change to E, then back to B, but he then goes back to E after only 2 bars, and McCaffrey stays in B for 2 more. In fact, it seems like he tries to cover his mistake by going back to E again on the 4th bar of that sequence, to make it seem like he meant it on the 3rd. Maybe he did, but with all the math that goes into playing it, I wouldn't be surprised if it is a mistake.

By the way, this is my new favorite song.
