Posted - 09/11/2004 : 23:15:39 I found this while digging around today. Forgive me if its been posted a zillion times and everyones already heard it. Pretty amusing, despite the fact that the interviewer asked numerous inane questions, but I also thought there were some really interesting things mentioned in it:
When asked about the Sex Pistol's reunion, Frank talks about the fact that Lydon "deserves" to reunite the band and "cash in" because they were so influential, and that he did the ultimate "classy" and "cool rock 'n roll" thing by breaking up the band when they were at the peak of their popularity. Now, who else does that sound like? Hmmm.

Posted - 09/18/2004 : 09:05:40 Interesting radio interview! I'm glad I heard it.
but...
If you needed proof that Frank is so cool, then this is it. the interviewer is obviously a total moron, who - unbelievably - even fails to actually ask questions, but just says things like "you've got an album out soon" making for awkward pauses while you (and Frank) wait for him to say more and then realise that he won't. he also misinterprets almost everything and focuses on absolutely ridiculous topics. frank saves the interview at every stage with manners, openness and humour. damn, Frank's a nice guy!
Sample interview question: "Do you think you'll ever be teenager of the year again?"
