So, hasn't Frank and the gang recorded yet another studio album recently, with the supposed contribution of some Tennessee (or around there) musicians? Will we be seeing that anytime soon? Or will we have to wait until he's back with the Catholics before it's released?

What with the Frank Black Francis thing AND the B-side compilation(s) supposedly in the pipeline, the release of a new album (of new material) is likely to happen in 2005 so I'd guess that it hasn't been recorded yet. |

the reunion really put thing aside
the nashville stuff has yet to be recorded, if my memory serves me well

We're talking about the Frank Black album that he is recording with Nashville studio musicians? I thought that I read it was recorded. If not, definetly the next in line to be released after FBF. Does anyone have a date of FBF yet? Or the two BSides comps he mentioned? |

From what I've read here and there, it's clear this album has not been recorded yet. I think - but it's a pure guess - that Frank intends to record it after the Pixies European tour...

hmm, i dont think so. i think the last thing he recorded before the pixies kicked it into rehearsals was FBF. but dont quote me on that, im not sure
