It's a beautiful song. One of my favorites in a while. I made an MP3 of it from this post.
I don't mean to sound negative, but I would really love a song like this to be done in a different way or for a different project and not by the Pixies on a new album. |

Am I the only one regularly checking Frank Black's social media to see if these videos will start up again now that Pixies are back on tour in Europe? Or if something solo/Catholics-oriented ended up being recorded over the past few weeks, hopefully we'll hear something soon. |

Yeah agree with this. Just want to add that Jeremy Dubs is an awesome dude, check out his movie Tallywacker along with his music with his band Bunnies. You will not be disappointed.

A friend says he thought my lyrical guess of "A lion in the shadow of a tree" might be "lying in the shadow of a tree", but to my ears, it sounds like "a lion"...of course the other one makes more sense, but my version feels more like a Frank lyric. |

I just realized that these are all also posted onto his facebook page, for those of us who never deleted our accounts/moved onto instragram, etc.
Nice to see O Little Cloud - I suppose that means this isn't necessarily a brand new batch of songs but perhaps a mix of a handful of new songs and some outtakes from the Pixies 2.0 era? Still haven't listened beyond O Little Cloud as I don't want to spoil a potential incoming album (or experience the songs for the first time via social media) but I may give up soon. |

Another new one today. Really giving me a bit of a more FB and the Catholics kind of vibe. Hope it goes this route- making these into Pixies songs wouldn't make sense to me anyway. Maybe the Pixies anniversary tour can let them tour around that and not feel the need for a new album atm. |
