Just saw this
https://redzeppelinrecords.com/UPC/5014797913257

Looks like Teenager of the Year was recorded live and is being pressed on vinyl for Black Friday RSD.

The blurb says 'Featuring recordings from the live tour across US, Paris, London' however the sticker on the record in the image says 'Captured during the 2025 tour in London' suggesting it is the London show.

Very glad they are doing a release for this, definitely expecting a tighter performance on this than the unfortunate Bossa/Trompe live record.

Selfishly I do hope it's the full London show because that's the one I was at haha

That was great, though I was really hoping to round out that era of songs with Men in Black...

Hearing the 3 encore songs (LA, Every Time, Ramona) live was the highlight for me of the TOTY show. In particular the connection with the audience during LA, and Lyle playing lead guitar on Ramona as the last song of the set - incredible.

Yes, TOTY is an incredible album, but there is something magical about self-titled, in that I just can't wrap my brain around it and its production. It's transcendent to me.

I wish FB self-titled would be re-released and reviewed again. As great TOTY is, these days I am listening to the orange album a lot, and I think it is the essence of TOTY elevated to even higher levels. Lyrically, musically, thematically it is somewhat close to Trompe, although in a very different style. A unique Thompson-Feldman collaboration.

Maybe it wasn't ready in time for RSD Black Friday, so there will be a push for it instead for RSD proper?
billgoodman Posted - 11/29/2025 : 02:20:57
That's funny, indeed, Discoking!

We will have this sooner or later, I guess.

Still haven't picked up the Bossa/Trompe-release. I don't care if it's bad, but I'm not paying full price!

the image is very likely generated. that's often the case when releases are announced.

but this release was on several websites, including the RSD website.
so this must've been a planned release at some point, no? (i might be wrong.)
i hope it does get a release eventually, and this was just a matter of "can't get the thing pressed on time".

on the other hand i do find it a bit weird that we didn't hear about this earlier. when was this first announced?
no idea how long this has been online, but from our point of view, auxfnx found this two days ago, and then yesterday it was gone again... strange.

that's today, right?

looks like the release disappeared...
google still finds a couple of websites, but all links are dead if i click on them (page not found).

google also has this picture cached:

does anyone have any more info? what's happened here?
