Apparently Frank and Reid Paley have been recording with Mr Tiven.

I love Reid Paley's music

just listened to this radio interview in which he mentions the project with Charles and talks about songwriting, etc.

What about the earlier FB solo stuff?

Is this sorta like when Elvis Costello and T-Bone Burnett toured as The Coward Brothers?

I'm with Thomas. No wait, the Otis Blackwell tribute was fun.

I don't find the Tiven production too bad - I remember in Loud Quiet Loud it seemed to be Frank who was making most of the mixing decisions. The problem with the production (which worked well in many parts I think) was that it could've been warmer and more organic and raw, rather than kind of glazy and polished. Id've loved to hear the grit in the acoustic guitar, y'know? Still, I'm very fond of both albums.
Hopefully we'll hear something from this project soon.

don't agree with you, although FMRM was way too much samey music
But that was a decision made by FB I believe

Tiven's a deuche. Everything he's touched with FB has been crap.

I really like their collaborations on Honeycomb and FMRM, looking forward to hearing it!

Tiven kept referring to them by that name, for some reason.

Will be interesting to see how it turns out. I bet there's at least one song about drinking.

I didn't know that.

They actually did Everly songs. The stuff I heard was recorded on a radio show, so it may have been a one-off thing.

Innerastin. I look forward to hearing this. I'm waiting for an fB on piano track. Reid can strum along. Keep me/us up to date yeah.
