What do you guys think?
I think the design is awesome. But what about the quality?
It's probably not an ironed on photo, but it says custom printed.
Have some bad experiences with photo's fading on shirts in the past.
Still probably getting this one.

I bought the shirt and was disappointed. It came out quite bad out of the washing machine. The other black shirts are far beter quality.

the shirt is growing on me. mark lemhouse is the designer. i just ordered one. jack is on it...he was born on the same day as my daughter.
it would be cool to get custom shirts made. i could wear a death to the pixies shirt and have a pic taken with my daughter (wearing crocks) and then post it on the stripe blackfrancis.net background. maybe active duck would be interested in designing them.

I bought it seconds after I first saw it on blackfrancis.net. It speaks to me. I have kids. I don't know how people had kids before crocs and sippy cups.
Maybe this explains all the old pictures of dirty, barefoot kids outside. |

Huh... this design is so close, but I don't know, at first glance this combination of elements -- the stripes, the text, BFB wearing that Pixies tee shirt -- doesn't add up to something I want to buy and wear... the concept is admirable, as a happy dad who's happy my favorite musician is also a happy dad, and the photo is cute, but I really want to like this more than I do... hmm, I think I just talked myself out of and then back into buying this. So it goes, my wishy-washy ways...
(update) yep, I bought it. Sort of a practice run for the hopefully soon-to-come Golem purchase. |
