Posted - 07/18/2009 : 09:09:08 ...NEW in a record store in portsmouth, nh!
absolute biggest punch to the gut in my vinyl hunting career. i thought this thing was long, long out of print. i mean it's listed as being unavailable from its own record label, http://diverserecords.com. how do bizarities like this happen? who on earth sold this record store a new copy, and how in the hell did i manage to find it? i mean, the sole copy for sale on amazon marketplace is going for $75 right now. $75! and i paid the average price for new vinyl of $22
giddily placing it next to my lp copy of frank black and the catholics

Posted - 04/03/2010 : 17:13:49 I'd love a copy of SMYT on vinyl. I've seen the 180g 2009 repressing on ebay, according to the seller the label it's released on is Diverse. Don't know this label or anything about the repressing process, is it done from original masters or digitally or what? Anyone know? |

Posted - 04/03/2010 : 16:14:10 Yeah, hard to say, though the seller looks fairly reliable. Not so much of a vinyl junkie that I'd be tempted really - would rather have a copy with album artwork. This limited edition of Frank's debut looks nice though: http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=270554891031&ssPageName=STRK:MEBIDX:IT |

Posted - 04/03/2010 : 16:03:22 Wow, that's pretty cool. But, the picture doesn't show any proof that it is what they say it is. |

Anyone know if it's the real mccoy? Not that I have 100 quid spare. |

Posted - 04/01/2010 : 11:56:17 It's all over the internet, trouble is they always want at least 30 for it. Haven't convinced my self I need it yet. TOTY on used vinyl is friggen 60+. Saw one go on ebay for over $100 recently. No thanks.
