Anyone in the UK catch the JD set Birthday thing this morning?

4music: The JD Set Presents: Birthday

Frank Black, Richard Hawley and Guy Garvey get together with some music legends to perform a unique and intimate show in Lynchburg, Tennessee.

Played wave of mutilation with a soul band, was quite cool. He also gave a little interview.

*bump*

Entertainment Focus - Plan B Heads To Tennessee To Celebrate Mr. Jack's Birthday.

...Whilst our headliner is guest of honour for Mr Jack’s Birthday, our house band are
also worth a mention. Formed by band leader, Jon Tiven, Nashville producer of
Alex Chilton and Frank Black amongst others, the formation of this unique group
for one day a year is something that Jon finds irresistible:

‘I get called upon to play my share of gigs, but none are as fun for me as ‘Mr. Jack’s
Birthday’. I get to play with my friends, and get introduced to a host of highly
talented singers who I probably would never get to share a musical experience with if
not for Jack Daniel’s. I look forward to the gig every year, and it's never been less
than stellar.’...

...Billy Block - Frank Black's drummer when not playing with the Pixies. Billy has
played for music legends such as The Rev. Al Green, Pixies frontman Frank
Black
, Rodney Crowell, Steve Earle and Lucinda Williams...

It was repeated? I saw some of it when it was originally shown.
