  Telecaster-playing Pixies frontman and solo performer Frank Black appreciates that it doesn't require extra effects to do its job. He also values its toughness.
  "I remember I got in trouble posing in Guitar Player magazine standing on one of my Telecasters like a skateboard," he laughs. "But the fact of the matter is that you can throw a Telecaster off the back of a truck, onto the ground. It might go out of tune, but that's about it." |

                Posted - 03/27/2006 : 18:18:45  i read a few guitar mags and looked at many covers wanting to read up on frank talking tele or six string in general.  he does'nt make a show of it though, he just does his thing. great quote find.
