I think you have them confused with Wyld Stallyns.

Posted - 03/18/2006 : 17:33:38 I haven't heard FM/RM, but there were some new songs at the SF shows that even the listeners of FM/RM couldn't name. Could they be Pixies songs? Was I wrong when I said no Pixies songs were played the 2nd night in SF? All I can tell you is VoVat's gut says "maybe."

I allways remembered the words of Gil Norton saying in 91 about "The Navajo Knows" that the pixies should sound more that way in the future. 15 years thats a long long step, but after all it is the last song on their lastest album!!! Or maybe it was actually valuable for the first FB solo album, wich is close to the Navajo Knows sound.
that would be cool I love Navajo Knows. I would be happy no matter what they sounded like as long as they sounded like something! |

When FB recently said..."recording demos for something..." I thinks that was his way of giving his biggest fans a little early hint. I'm sure he knew that wouldn't go unnoticed!
yeah, well, I guess that could be anything. Schwarma?

I have this weird feeling that people here notice just about anything he says. |

Posted - 03/05/2006 : 00:52:24 If the band (or Frank) had unfinished business, exorcising demons and all that, then job well done. A three year gig-a-thon saw to that. Time for a new chapter, or to close the book once and for all.
And Vovat, you know it. If we don't get a new song, at least we'll get a wabbit. |

Posted - 03/04/2006 : 09:44:49 either way (new record/split) i'll be happy.
The recent hiatus will end with the gig in France, if not one sooner. I can't figure out why they'd want to fall back into autopilot and play the same round of songs for a third year. There's a trick up their sleeve.

and a gig announced for this year. Two years of playing decade old songs doesn't do these four musicians justice. Aren't they bored yet? The only future I see for this band is a new album. |
