Posted - 10/23/2022 : 11:13:12 I guess this may have been posted before back in the day (am not an expert on live show inventories). But I just found this incredible video by accident and had to watch straight through to the end.
Crackity Jones and Brackish Boy back to back are blinding.

Edit: Just noticed there is a credit to Benji of FB forum. Doh!
Anyway nice distraction from Vault of Heaven. |

Posted - 10/24/2022 : 10:27:49 Ha Muse are to blame for a lot, not a fan!
Saw them in Glasgow in 01 and 03 - the show in 01 is up there as one of the best I've been to.

Great version of Brackish Boy. What a show. And great to here Skeleton Man.
Denis - how did this gig compare to other gigs including pixies for you?
Not my best concert experience actually... There was a huge traffic jam to get to the festival, and then from what I was told Muse (headliners) threw a fit because they played late so they made the entire schedule move half an hour earlier. So when I got out of my car I heard the Catholics playing, and only saw the 2nd half of it. I fucking hate Muse since that day :)
But I remember the set was great, really loud being in an outdoor festival and all. Great response from the crowd

Awesome! Gonna check this out later today. My one and only time seeing the Catholics was the Belly Up in Solona Beach, CA 4/24/03. No setlist I can find but the show was absolutely ripping. The only live FBF I’ve seen that comes close in intensity is in the salad days of the reunion at the House of Blues in Orlando 10/10/04.
I had a bad reaction to your public hobby writings.

Posted - 10/23/2022 : 12:07:50 If you want it on disc, here it is: https://ln5.sync.com/dl/2f9dc6100/7m43cbhc-2xy6mshh-pq6ep2th-dajmxz8f It'd be great if the video quality was better - I don't think I've seen a better version than this, but it's still great. And here's the audio version - straight from the FM broadcast: https://ln5.sync.com/dl/a17b49940/t4unqcxe-24ckgrq7-dpfu9ajp-86hzewkg Both are those are also linked from the original forum post....
