Posted - 06/06/2013 : 21:38:51 a couple radio sessions i uploaded to dime the other weekend:
Frank Black Peel Session, Maida Vale 4, London, UK 1996-02-06 (Recording Date) 1996-02-17 (Broadcast Date)
Lineage: FM > ? > flac > you
Setlist: 01 Everyone Is Wrong 02 Man Of Steel 03 Skeleton Man 04 I Need Peace
Length: 16:10 (no DJ Chatter), 16:40 (DJ Chatter)
Info: I have included two versions of this session in this torrent. One has the DJ chatter included, while the second has it edited out. The edited version is of better quality, but sounds like it's just a remastered version of the same source. I have decided to include both here as some people like to hear the DJ's, especially when it's Mr Peel.
Frank Black's second Peel Session (the others 1994-05-14 & 1999-05-14). Features one unreleased song, one b-side, and two album tracks, though early versions with significant differences from the released versions, with I Need Peace called 'Close Your Eyes' and containing different lyrics. Everyone Is Wrong cannot be found anywhere else and is written by Lyle Workman.

Frank Black Mark Radcliffe Session, UK 1996-01-22
Lineage: FM > ? > flac > you
Setlist: 01 Intro 02 White Noise Maker 03 Village Of The Sun 04 Interview 05 Jumping Bean 06 Modern Age
Length: 12:29 (no DJ Chatter), 20:59 (DJ Chatter)
Info: I have included two versions of this session in this torrent. One has the DJ chatter included which includes the interview, while the second has it edited out, leaving only the music. The edited version is of better quality, but sounds like it's just a remastered version of the same source. I have decided to include both here as some people like to hear the DJ's, especially when there's an interview as well.

Posted - 10/04/2016 : 10:52:32 Gideon Coe is playing "Frank Black live in concert" Reading 1994 apparently, now. Not sure if it's been on yet, still 2 hours left of the show. BBC Radio 6, should be on the iPlayer after if you miss it.

Posted - 02/23/2014 : 00:32:40 I've heard of FB saying that music or chords to a song have been around for a while but didn't know Bullet was in some form of existence at this time.
It would be really something to hear a TOTY style studio recording of Bullet, though I doubt such a recording exists.

Total Tracks: 89 Total Length: 4:23.57
Info: Mostly acoustic sessions, with the odd one a full band recording. Quality is mostly very good, however, there are some rougher ones. As stated above, each session has been verified as lossless.
Compiled from a very extensive (100+ cd's) collection of Frank Black and Pixies recordings I acquired from a long-time collector. Most of it has not seen much circulation, and I will endeavor to get through some/most of it in time. I also received 10 or so DVD-r's with FLAC and mp3's of shows, some not included in the cd-r's. This set was spread across several such DVD-r's. I do not know how these shows were converted from cd-r to flac. I have sessions not included here on cd-r's, however, those are not likely to be seeded here anytime as it's very time consuming.
Enjoy, einzack (2013-06-09)
