Has anyone else heard about a western Canadian kick in early-mid November? The local paper has Frank Black in Edmonton on 09 November, and the Canadian Ticketmaster website has him both there and in Calgary on 10 Nov. It doesn't make much sense that he would come so far just to play those two cities, so has anyone heard anything about a more extensive trek through western Canada? One would think he'd play Vancouver and Victoria because he's so popular there, but no indication yet. This had better not be just a rumour, because I've already called a dozen people!

So we have No Cal Frank solo acoustic in late August and then again in November with fresh band in support of FMRM? We be sittin' in clover. Yes, that's right: just can't help it. And then the man will no doubt go across to points London, Paris, & Prague, and eight months later he's back in California. Color us lucky.

Hmm, I really hope so but we've heard nothing. I'll put some feelers out. It seems a bit of a trip to go from Calgary to San Fran but five days is enough time to make it there I suppose. I just hope he stops here again <crosses fingers>.
