Posted - 07/15/2021 : 14:46:29 I've always wondered about this show, if TMBG are playing on any other songs, who is playing what, what is going on. I have spoken to people who played this show and even they don't remember. |

hmm, I listened to my copy and didn't notice anything. I'll delete that track off mega and re-upload. I'll post here when it's done and you can test. But yeah, the copy on my HD seems fine around those times.
EDIT: I downloaded the file on mega and it does indeed have skips at those 2 points. So I've replaced it with my original copy which is error-free. So head along and download that track again and all should be good.

Posted - 02/08/2018 : 06:23:15 Would you pay an annual membership fee to belong to a webcast thing where Frank sits at home with his acoustic and plays a song?
I probably would.
He’d make a little money, we’d get to hear Valentine and Garuda or whatever. Win win. |

Posted - 02/06/2018 : 12:36:52 Agree with that. Would say the time around Bluefinger, Svn Fngrs, the precores and The Golem was a similar era whereby he was just cranking out music for the sheer joy of it, doing his own thing without any outside influence. Probably the last time that happened.. maybe the Paley album as well.
I think his joy these days is his painting. Means less music sadly. |

He's just at his confident best that era. Chatting endlessly to the crowd, announcing his band, making jokes - he was loving life.
Agreed.
But I also think he was doing it for the love of the game, and that he's doing 2.0 for the work. Don't get me wrong, I totally think he deserves the money, so much more than he's getting by doing 2.0, but I think if you offered him the same money to not do the Pixies anymore he would gladly oblige.
He sounds so great in this recording. I love him. |

This is my absolute favorite era / incarnation of the man.
Post 1.0 pre-Catholics Charles is the best of all time.
I would trade my having seen the Pixies in the 90s so I could see more of FB in 93 and 94 |

Posted - 07/26/2006 : 10:42:06 Everyone who wants this, hurry and get it, because Dime will take it down quickly, since it's an official release (even if it's an extremely obscure promo that goes for like $150 or whatever it's up to now). They have several times in the past.
