Posted - 04/29/2006 : 03:19:38 Thank you VERY much! That's it for sure.
Oh man, sometimes I can't figure out those lyrics by myself. I keep hearing the same nonsense, no matter how often or how hard I try. And to make it worse, with FB lyrics, there is always the chance that you have the words right, but still doesn't get the meaning...
So, The Rabbits Song so far:
We rode along The fields of green I didn’t know it was my last scene ne'er goodbye, nay adieu I couldn’t see the rabbits hiding out of view
Maybe light caught in my eye an' we were thrown into the wild ride I hope you know My love was true I couldn’t see the rabbits hiding out of view
There is a hole For every soul I slipped right through I couldn’t see the rabbits hiding out of view ne'er goodbye, nay adieu I couldn’t see the rabbits hiding out of you
Maybe light caught in my eye an' we were thrown into the wild ride I hope you know My love was true I couldn’t see the rabbits hiding out of view
Right? So, kfs, what about thee tabs of this song? |

Hm... yes, maybe. The "ne'er goodbye" bit sounds right, but it would be a strange pronounciation of "adieu". And on purpose, too, to rhyme with view.
And what are they doing through the wild rye? Not crawling, even if that would fit somehow.
How about..."we were thrown into the wild ride"? |

Posted - 04/28/2006 : 16:02:20 And while we're at it, what about tabs for The Rabbits Song? Has anyone tried to figure them out? And cares to post them here? Please? I would like to be able to strum along to the mp3, but am not able to solve that riddle myself. |

Posted - 04/28/2006 : 15:52:38 Have the lyrics of this song been posted before? I'm trying to figure them out right now, but have some difficulties. With the lyrics and the search function of this site...
This is what I hear (and sometimes not hear):
We rode along The fields of green I didn’t know it was my last scene ??? by, nay you do I couldn’t see the rabbits hiding out of view
Maybe light caught in my eye And we were thrawling(?!?) to the wild rye I hope you know My love was true I couldn’t see the rabbits hiding out of view
There is a hole For every soul I slipped right through I couldn’t see the rabbits hiding out of view ??? by, nay you do I couldn’t see the rabbits hiding out of you
Maybe light caught in my eye And we were thrawling to the wild rye I hope you know My love was true I couldn’t see the rabbits hiding out of view
I really like: “It doesnt’ go like that, but you don’t know it”
Could some native speaker shed some light on those lyrics plaese?

Posted - 03/21/2006 : 06:33:01 It would appear this is a song from his project with Eric Drew Feldman...
"If we hit that bullseye, the rest of the dominos will fall like a house of cards. Checkmate." |

Posted - 03/20/2006 : 17:51:38 I love rabbits.... I hope I get a tame one one soon. Wild rabbits are so cool. I would love to hear the song. I have been looking at getting one but I don't know if the dogs next door would ever stop barking at it, so maybe it's not a good idea. |

Posted - 03/20/2006 : 15:30:11 Oh, and I almost forgot the great lines:
For every soul There is a hole I slipped (or fell?) right through
I couldnt see the rabbits hiding out of view

Cant wait to hear this pop up on an album

Info on this reference, from the song database:
" Rabbits, what Frank's ex-wife may have been, are said to be timid, compassionate, popular, protective, pessimistic, and in need of a strong base at home. Their ideal partners are said to be pigs or goats."

Posted - 03/20/2006 : 11:44:23 I'm near positive that it's "out of view", but I havn't listened to the recordings of it yet.

Posted - 03/20/2006 : 06:23:25 Is it "hiding next to you" or "out of view" ?

Posted - 03/20/2006 : 00:56:09 No much info sorry, but have to agree it is a beautiful song.
Maybe there's a Watership Down connection in there somewhere, maybe not... Chinese Astrological Year of the Rabbit: 1963, 1975, 1987, 1999, etc.
All of the above totally irrelevant no doubt.
