I quite like the "Lowlands Festival" but there's too many Pixies song in it, in my opinion.

Which one do you suggest?

Thanks for the torrent Benji, I couldn't figure out how to rip it from the website.

Are the HearitAgain.net recordings still available? And the CBC recording in Regina, could it be shared?

HearitAgain is now defunct, but the CBC recording is available here:

http://radio3.cbc.ca/

Select A-F and scroll down to Frank Black & The Catholics.

See, now Floop is on to something...

The old joke is that Regina is a big smelly hole. Of course, that's not really true. It's quite small...

I'd have to say the CBC recording in Regina at the State.

and this opinion would have nothing to do with the location of said concert?

I got some heaven in my head

or what the name of the location of said concert rhymes with?

i really like the Melkweg, Amsterdam 28-11-2003 recording. it's my favourite audience recording.
i think the cbc regina is undoubtedly the best soundboard (& the like) recording out there thats almost the full concert. with the Malmo, Sweeden gig a very very close 2nd.
FranknWeezer, here's the setlist for the malmo gig.
1.Six Sixty Six
2.Fiddle Riddle
3.Skeleton Man
4.All My Ghosts
5.Bullet
6.Stupid Me
7.I've Seen Your Picture
8.If It Takes All Night
9.Oddballs
10.Hemaphroditos Is My Name
11.Dog Gone
12.Sir Rockaby
13.The Black Rider
14.Los Angeles
15.Coming To Los Angeles
16.Where Is My Mind

ps, i'll be seeding a regina show on dime within the next week or so.

Lowlands Festival, Madison, and probably HearitAgain.net-recordings (I never heard them though)

It's tough to say. One of my favourites has always been the May 16, 2001 show in Eugene, Oregon.

Ha, no! Regina is the sworn enemy of Saskatoon. Ask Yann. I just think the quality of the recording is exceptional and I enjoyed the setlist. Unfortunately, some of the covers they did that night weren't recorded by CBC because of rights, etc, but I have yet to hear a live version of Bullet that compares...

Yeah, the beginning with EDF on Slims is definitely cool. But the concert itself wasn't recorded too nicely.

I don't listen much to my bootlegs, but I'd say the '2000 Madison gig for its emotional content (first time we heard the DiTS songs) and the '2003 gig at Slim's for the beginning with EDF and the awesome version of the Farewell Bend.
