Don't know how fresh this is, but I know I didn't have it. Still downloading it myself, but "stef1205" says:

"Hi,
received this in a trade some months ago.
Very enjoyable show, just Frank and his guitar.
Enjoy"

I'm even luckier than you think: La Laiterie is Strasbourg's best venue, and it's just 10 minutes walk from my home :)

Funny. Sounds okay to me. Though I haven't listened to every second of the Pixie tracks, yet.
kelladwella Posted - 02/28/2006 : 08:00:24
I have no idea.

But if you go to the site of the torrent on dime and scroll down the comments there is a screenshot wich is apparantly proving that at least one file was lossy.

Llamadance Posted - 02/28/2006 : 07:46:44
was that why? I was just wondering why Azureus was saying it was banned. Was all of it lossy?

The Bremen torrent got banned from dime. "lossy"...
ccuadros Posted - 02/27/2006 : 16:19:42
I've just listened the concert, amazing man!!, one of the best that I've ever heard, sadly the taper coudln't record If It Takes All Night, but they could tape over 2 hour of concert, many clasics. You have to listen it.

If you're interested i'll upload at the sendmesomefrank section.

Hola,

The best converter between flac, shn, mp3 and wav files it's the dbpoweramp software, i've uploaded here with the flac and shn codec:

http://s28.yousendit.com/d.aspx?id=0RFKNNXG2ER2X0G206739RN3Q0

First you have to install dmc-rc10 first, and after that you have to install the flac and shn codecs.

It's not illegal because the software is free

I hope that it'll be usefull.

Thanks a lot guys!

I was hoping for something like the little easy-to-use application flk pointed out in his post.

First I tried my luck with a tutorial similar to that on the etree.org site, wich included lots of installing, copying and fiddling around. When it wanted me to open an MS-DOS window, I thought there got to be an easier way to do this.

So thank you again.

And welcome flk. What a helpfull first post this was.

I donīt know, where you ran into problems with shorten. You should be able to decompress the *.shn to wav with Shorten for Windows in no time.

btw. Itīs really time to say hallo to all of you after years of only reading in here. Probably Iīm too lazy for writing because my english is not so good.
Sorry for that.

dime appear to be culling there members to 75,000. if you now go to the signup page it says they won't be taking new members until they get below 75k, and now that there's still 92,000, it might be a while.

but dean, i've got a spare account that i nabbed a while ago for a friend who hasn't used it. i'll email you the details and it's all yours.
unfortunately you'll have to put up with the username i chose, which'll mean nothing to ya, but it's an account nonethless.

why not CoF, last I looked they had over 7000 available slots. Maybe they're not taking new sign-ups atm, don't know why. Keep at it, as when they start again, there will be a lot of spaces.

The Strasbourg show did reappear, with the seeder's upload count re-set at zero. Odd. Seems to be working fine.
ivandivel Posted - 02/25/2006 : 02:50:45
Just finnished the Bremen - great quality. Somehow - the german intro is quite amusing. I think the strasbourg show is up again, but i'm not leeching right now so i don't know if it's working.
Erebus Posted - 02/25/2006 : 00:30:29
Does anybody know what happened to the Strasbourg show at dime? The link and page for it have disappeared and a bunch of us are suspended at 11%. Was this torrent banned for some reason? I went to dime's yahoo discussion group but couldn't find anything on it. If anyone knows what happened, please share what and how you found out. I always have a devil of a time finding out about banned torrents. Thanks.

The Bremen solo show sounds great.

Nice and thanks.

My computer will not do Bittorrents. Can some kind soul burn high-quality CD-Rs of these shows and trade them to me for something from my collection? PM me if you're up for this. Thanks!
