I have had my first stab at making a torrent, here is one of the london forum gig on the 20th of August, its a dvd iso so is pretty big. Hope it works.

to upload a file of that size, you're certainly going to need more than 24 hours.
you will have to keep it open until at least one other person has the full set, ideally longer than that to get it out to more people who can continue to carry the torch after you can't seed anymore.

sorry busy and havent had time to reply, its the first time I have ever seeded a file and I kept it open for 24 hours, I will try again but I am a complete amateur and that was following an idiots guide. I have dvds of brixton first date and the forum date and there is nothing I would like more than to share them but it doesnt seem to work.
Currently working 13 hour days and trying to move house, please bear with me and I will try and do this, sorry.
edit. have upped the brixton gig to easytree will try and do the same with the forum gig tonight.
edit again both there and have asked the wife not to log me off.
edit one last time, that sounds disgusting.

yeah the times downloaded means how many people have grabbed the torrent file.
at present there are only 3 people leeching, 0 seeding

Could it be that the 65 "times downloaded" indicates the number of people that downloaded the torrent file but that the target file is not yet out there? |

i suspect that it was never seeded at all

There has been a serious case of "hit and run" here... There is no seed after 3 days and over 60 downloads... Could anyone open a window? Cheers, Frank |

But why not seed it on Easytree? It's a much wider known live music bittorrent tracker?
