Posted - 06/21/2004 : 08:33:04 Hi, all. I'm kind of a newbie when it comes to this so I'm hoping some kind soul will help me out... basically I have a dilema. There is a show this fall booked 5 hours from my house that is CONFIRMED, and another 15 minutes away that is UNCONFIRMED. Obviously, I'd rather go to the closer one. Can anyone tell me if the unconfirmed dates usually get cancelled or usually eventually get confirmed? I'm not sure how it works and I'm scared of being stuck with tickets to a show that's not happening while the other one sells out. Thanks!

Posted - 06/23/2004 : 12:12:21 Me! I'm in Hadley! I'm actually a student at UMass, and I work at the University, but I've been listening to the Pixies since I was a kid, and I'm so excited that they'll be at the Mullins Center! YES!

Posted - 06/21/2004 : 11:53:08 Get tickets to both shows. I'd realy recommend you see The Pixies as much as possible. My first show just flashed by in such a haze of excitement, noise and bodies that I still cannot believe I was there.

Posted - 06/21/2004 : 08:42:20 I was in the exact same position. For me it was to either hope that the Ohio dates are confirmed or I travel two states to Chicago to see them. My choice? Buy tickets for the Chicago shows and hope I can see them more than once!
