Posted - 06/12/2004 : 21:53:28 Not wanting to blow my own trumpet or anything, travelling across the globe to see possibly the best band on the planet (I guess I cheated a little as I hadn't been home for a year, so it was an opportunity to see my friends and family as well as Pixies)... How far have some of you travelled to watch this tour??

Posted - 06/24/2004 : 05:44:12 I traveled from Washington DC to Sacramento, CA to catch the Pixies at UC Davis. It was well worth it, plus I got to kick it Cali-style for a weekend with some of my best friends. So I basically flew across the country.
Good times! |

Posted - 06/23/2004 : 18:18:09 Just checked Mapquest... apparently I will be traveling 924.16 miles to see the Pixies. Now I just gotta decide if I'm gonna fly or drive. For some reason going by plane is seeming like the way to go at the moment.
The longest distance I ever traveled for a show just edges that one out by 4 miles. *GRIN* And it was one heckuva great show too.

Hi racerza, I'm from Pretoria. You definitely have to make some plans to go see The Pixies, as many times as possible. I saw another guy with a Pixies T-shirt on the plane back home, I'm sure there were quite a few who travelled to Europe for the shows.
Now, if only The Pixies would come to us!
