Since little things always pop out and surprise after years of listening to Pixies records dig this: Ever listen to the end of All Over The World? That cackling vocal in the background is saying something along the lines of, and perhaps not always in this order but, "Time is an arrangement/Time is an arranger/Got a train derailment/Better call a ranger"

That's some spooky stuff there.

Another reason why Bossanova rocks.

"Me and the chickens running in the street"

Is that from the Turn of the screw or something?

You think that pictures scary??? How about this this...

It's apparently haunted.

For ten thousand years he slept, his mind feeding on the nightmares of the weak. Now he has awakened. As the night turned crimson, the fire-blade shattered and his power died. Then, the slaughter began...

This is one of my top five Pixies songs but it also contains my fav Pixie music moment of all time. Its the build-up to the drums kicking back in after the 'jangly guitar/better call the ranger' part. I cant listen to that song without rewinding and replaying that 10 second moment -its SO spooky it drives me absolutely nuts. Would love to see that song feature on the reunion tour.

"When 5000 posts you reach / Look as good you will not, hmmm?"

the picture works for me. I kind of wish I could have laughed......All Over The World is a MAGNIFICENTLY dark and spooky song. The happy pop of "Debaser" and "Wave of Mutilation" may have been nowhere to be found in this song, but I don't care; it's one of the most beautiful, genius songs ever written.

Now this is what I call spooky :

I keep feeling like people are just looking at screens and web sites all the time, but do they ever do anything? Or go out and say anything to anyone? I'm not so sure anymore.
