I am writing to praise Netburn/Disclive. They are providing a wonderful service. Last night I went to download the netburn of the Brixton show and realized I didn't have my Windoze PC around...I had already downloaded the .exes for the PC netburn on a Linux box. I contacted support because I needed to download on my Powerbook. Within 10 minutes I had an active support ticket created and two responses from support (now this was at 11:30 CST). They reset my download link so I could download from my Powerbook. You should also realize netburn does not officially support OSX, so if you have OSX you actually download two archives containing the songs of both CDs. The songs were ripped to AAC (128kbs) using iTunes. I simply imported into iTunes and burned an audio CD (listened to it on my way to work). Now Apple's Advanced Audio Codec is very good event at the lowly 128kbs bit rate. It would be nice not to have the gaps between tracks, but I don't care as I have ordered the box set. I am greatful netburn is providing a workaround for OSX users. I imagine them supporting all the different burners on the PC is difficult, but it appears they are making a concerted effort to help people with issues. The accoustics appear to be quite good at Brixton (I am comparing them to other venues where disc live has recorded..based on my listens of my other Disc Lives). I would hazard to say that the native CDs will possibly be better if not equal to the Saskatoon discs. Keep up the great work...you are getting better..in particular your last shipment to me (Indio) was packaged much better than my previous two orders.

i have to agree, i got back from brixton about 1am and it wasn't up yet. I got up at 3.30 and it looked good downloading ok, then a problem, i opened a ticket and got the link to the mp3's and have been listening to it all day.

I'm very impressed that the following day i am listening to the gig i went to the night before.....and fantastic that was.
