It looks like DiscLive isn't going to be the company
who will record the shows

Well it's nice to see they are working out the kinks. When I see the band sometime in December I'll expect my official bootleg to remind me of every amazing second I spent at the show(s).

"Now if the Pixies would just change up the setlists a little more so the CDs don't all sound the same."

I agree. More variation night to night would be nice. I'd like the band to go the way of FBATC's, and not do a preshow setlist.

For what it's worth, I'm in the middle of working with a few different companies who will be doing all the fulfillment for future shows. In the future, we will have the home shipping process much more streamlined, and shows will be at your door in days rather than weeks.

I can't personally apologize enough about all the delays; hopefully by now everyone in the US has received their discs and abroad I can assure you they are on their way...

Like kingphilbert said, it was for us absolutely a warm up tour too, and we'll be much better at this end of our business when it's time for the next tour.

If anyone continues to have problems or issues, feel free to email me personally at jake (at) disclive (dot) com so I can try to be of help.

I think in the end, Disclive performed fantasticaly. It took a while to get my Fine Line disc after the first show, but Vancouver and Indio showed exactly one week from the day of the show. I feel that the Warm Up tour was a great teaching tool for them to see how quick they can do it and how to make adjustments for any upcoming ventures. Sound quality, artwork and shipping may all change the next time around. They did great and I hope they keep doing it because I want to get my December Philly show on CD. Now if the Pixies would just change up the setlists a little more so the CDs don't all sound the same.

No, I am just happy to have them, considering an Australia trip, if it ever happens, is getting further and further away.

I think Disclive might've bitten off more than they could chew with the warm-up tour - but I think they actually came through pretty well. If you look at what they did previously - which was much less ambitious (smaller bands/longer shipping times)they were pretty brave with the Pixies warm up, and all credit to um.

My head was feeling scared, but my heart was feeling free

Well, here's an indication that they might:
