I'm thinking the exact same thing as you. Lemme just say this- if Ticketmaster already put out tickets, that means it is likely there is a good chance of a show, but if the Pixies are burned out or something at that leg of the tour they MIGHT cancel. Fuck that would suck. Keep your fingers crossed.. |

Can anybody confirm the Vancouver, BC Plaxa of Nations Pixies concert in Sept.? On this site I noticed that it now states "unconfirmed Pixies show"!!! I bought a ticket and can not fathom there not being a show. Yes we have been very fortunate to have FB&TC's coming through for regular tour stops and more recently been blessed with two PIXIES shows at the fabulous commodore ballroom but to sell out the tickets out only to then put "unconfirmed" status on the site - what's up with that? Vancouver anticipating PIXIES! |

uh, like care to elaborate chick? ah..nevermind. It doesn't matter now anyway. As of this moment I supposedly should have tickets coming my way that I got off eBay, which is fairly safe.
So.. I no longer need to worry about getting tickets-especially from stupid scalpers or those rip-off sites. |

I originally posted something like this in the NEED TICKET thread, but I erased it I thought heck, if this Pixies Vancouver topic already exists might as well use it 'cos it's less cluttered and my plea might be more easily noticed. G, I think really there should be a NEED TICKET thread for each major area, it would be more organized and peeps wouldn't hafta comb thru as many pages and such. Anyhow, my PLEA is pretty much the same as supavetchy's (see 1st post) I would like to try to get one ticket for a cheap price (face value or a little over)..otherwise I might just give in and have to get an expensive ticket from one of those sites selling them close to 100 bucks. 
By the way, anyone out there know how legit those sites are?
Is there anything to worry about besides the high prices? |

ok maybe if i did'nt go to both vancouver shows i would'nt be so high
and mighty... but like you said it's the PIXIES!!!! play the collesium it's way better and bigger!!!
why any band would play there is beyond me.
it pisses me off too that tickets were $45+service=$60
for the venue.
good luck getting in i will see you there i'll be the one with the sign.

I agree with you about the sound quality miles__hi,
but I would rather be inside than standing outside.Its the PIXIES man.I agree with you, but I don't think now is the time to boycott ANY venue.Just get me in!!! |
