It was 15 years ago that I first heard Monkey Gone to Heaven.....and it's it was 11:34 last night that for the first time in my life, I held a Pixies un-used gig ticket!!!!!
Yesss, I'm going! To both the first gig in London on 2nd June, and the last one on 5th June!
I was talking to peachy peach about kissy kiss!!!

Yep see you there, I will be the big 6ft4 bloke who is openly weeping like a girl, somewhere near the front.
I'm still in a state of shock about all this,its like my one prayer in life has been answered,like a family member coming back from the dead.And it has happened just when i needed the Pixies the most,apart from Malkmus and Radiohead, rock is dead to me.
If they play Santos or Dance the mantaray,I shall go weak kneed like a big ole girl.

I hear you, last time I saw them was on the Bossanova and Trompe tour.I just can't wait, I'm also going to see them on the first and last night of Brixton.It always kicks off when the Pixies play Brixton, after all London is the place where they first made a name for themselves (while all the americans were still into Guns and Roses, you fools) so it is very much like a homecoming!

Same here. I am so excited. Got my tickets and flying to see them at Berkeley 2 shows. Flying all the way from New Zealand.

I feel the same! I heard the Pixies for the first time 15 years ago! And finaly, when i was hopeless, they are coming to Portugal! And i have the tickets!
I still canīt belive!
