Posted - 05/03/2004 : 21:07:10 hopefully the new title will be out there, fun, quirky and weird like the other ones. I am hoping that it will just pick up where they left off |

what about the irreverant "Kim in a Cardigan"?
Why is 'monosyllabic' such a long word? |

Here's a possible title for a possible Pixies album:
"Into the Black"

I thought you guys would like that. To be honest, I never like the "Death to the Pixies" album title. Sure it's better than long live the greatest band ever, but I felt Death was a little harsh.
I was wasted at the show, and kept looking at the T-shirts and thought, that would be a great logo for the back.
The title was taken form their early promotional posters which just said "Death to the Pixies" with a naked Black Fancis on his belly with a very phallic looking thumbs down.
"A much slimmer Charles White hung up a "Death to the Pixies" poster (1986 version, a decade before the record of that name) face-in to the wall and wrote a set list of the songs he wanted to cover on the back" |

Posted - 05/01/2004 : 22:35:53 Yeah, it's a knee-slapper alright, tytarter. What you did is observe that some of the band members have put on some weight in the past twelve years and then you said they should reference that in their new album title by saying 'they never died, they just got fatter.' I see. I get it. Man, you don't miss a thing, do you? I bet people that know you say, "nothing gets past that tytarter, he really tells it like it is, dude." With so few posts to this site I fear your keeping you're powerful observational skills to yourself far too often. |
