Posted - 04/21/2004 : 14:44:38 I was beginning to wonder why there aren't more pics going into the gallery. I hope people aren't being all copy-wrighty, selfish and money-fied about it. There are gonna be a lot of shows. There are gonna be a lot of pics.
Please, please share them by uploading to the gallery. |

Posted - 04/21/2004 : 12:49:45 People were walking around freely with their cameras at Winnipeg. I was kind of ticked off because I left mine in the car. Not even a minor search.

LUXOWELL - Which OR show are you going to? I'm going to the Wednesday show. If you do get pictures of that let me know, I'd like copies! |

Posted - 04/21/2004 : 06:23:02 Whenever I have gone to a show that says no cameras I always get it in. Even when patted down they don't take it away. Once a bouncer asked another bouncer and they said if it's small let it go. One thing I do is I keep it in my hand with the my cell phone, wallet, etc and when they pat you down you extend your arms and they just glance at what your hoplding because your not trying to hide it.

Posted - 04/20/2004 : 20:07:42 I brought mine into Winnipeg and was talking pics even with the ushers walking by. I should have brought it into Minny. There were signs everywhere saying no cameras but security didnt search anything...
I'd say go for it.

Posted - 04/20/2004 : 17:45:51 I went in to the Saskatoon show with my camera around my neck and said "These are allowed, right?", then the security guy said "Is it Digital?", I said "No", and he let me in........can't wait to get the pics developed!
It was a very weak pat down too, they didn't find the can of beer I accidentally forgot in my pocket.

Posted - 04/20/2004 : 16:58:22 In Saskatoon there was a full on pat-down search of everyone entering the venue. They even had seperate girls and guys lines, but I think they're only searching for cameras, as he let me in with my 9mm in its holster and some C4 strapped to my chest. He took the detonator away though, as it's one of those new detonators/mp3 players/cameras. Man, EVERYTHING has a camera in it these days... |

Posted - 04/20/2004 : 16:45:18 I went to both Minneapolis and Winnipeg and at both shows cameras weren't allowed yet at both shows I wasn't even searched. I snuck my massive SLR in for the Winnipeg show so I say go for it. If worst comes to worst then you might have to carry it back to the car.
